Leopard Hunting

DIFFERENT LEOPARD HUNTS ON OFFER

Leopard Trophy FeesBVC

The area is renowned for its sizeable leopard population, with approximately 20 different leopards on bait during a single hunting trip. It is important to note that the hunting of females is strictly prohibited.

In accordance with management policies, clients who opt for a buffalo/leopard hunt are given priority as a result of the high buffalo population and the desirability of capturing a leopard in the area. The low day rate for leopard hunts on the BVC is designed to protect clients from the possibility of paying a high rate without capturing a leopard. Additionally, clients are encouraged to adhere to the established age criteria for the leopard they wish to capture.

It is worth mentioning that almost all leopard captures occur over bait, with the majority taking place during nighttime hours. Every bait is monitored using trail cameras to ensure that only older males are targeted.
