Elephant Trophy Fees – SHANGANI AREA
Zimbabwe is well-known for its high elephant population, and trophies can be exported to the US. One of the areas in Zimbabwe where Pete Fick Safaris offers elephant hunts is the Shangani area, situated east of Bulawayo. The area spans over 550,000 acres and is a two-hour drive from Bulawayo.
The Shangani area is known for its thriving population of mature bull elephants, with hardly any cows present. Annually, the area allows for the taking of ten old and mature bulls, with an excellent success rate. The trophy sizes range from 40 – 65 pounds, making it a very desirable location for elephant hunts.

Matetsi / Hwange West Zimbabwe
This region and camp, located at a distance of 70 kilometers from Victoria Falls, is aesthetically pleasing. However, hunting for bulls weighing over 30 pounds may pose a challenge, although we have been successful in capturing bulls weighing up to 70 pounds in the past. Nevertheless, the elephant hunting experience here is still authentic and thrilling.
