BUBYE VALLEY CONSERVANCY, Southern Zimbabwe
In Southern Zimbabwe, the Bubye Valley Conservancy (BVC) is a preferred hunting area for buffalo, lion, leopard, and plains game. Pete is a seasoned professional who exclusively operates in this exceptional area, which spans 850,000 acres of private land, rich in wildlife, including elephant and rhino.
The camps in this area are luxurious and exclusive, ensuring that different parties are never mixed in the same camps. Notably, BVC boasts an extremely high buffalo population, and we harvest more buffalo annually than any other area, as well as lion and leopard.
In addition to BVC, Pete accommodates clients in other areas around Zimbabwe for elephant, leopard, sable, hippo, croc, or any other game. All the hunting areas are free ranging.
To determine the cost of different hunts, add the total daily rate with the cost of all species trophy fees, killed or wounded, and add a 2% levy on the total day rate and trophy fees.
For added convenience, extra hunt days may be included in any hunt package at $700/day.
One of Pete’s clients who visited the area during his first safari had this to say:
“This is my 86th safari to Africa, the first time to Zimbabwe. This is the best-managed area I have ever been to, and I will no longer be going to other African countries. Instead, I will be returning here every year for as long as I can.”
