Buffalo Hunting

The area in which Pete operates is considered one of the best for buffalo hunting in Zimbabwe, with an annual catch of up to 150 bulls. Such hunts are restricted to old bulls, and hunting from mixed herds is prohibited, ensuring that all the animals taken are old Dagga boys.

Buffalo Trophy Fees – BVC

In terms of buffalo trophy fees, animals above 38″ are classified as trophies and attract a fee of $6,000. Non-trophy specimens measuring between 36″ and 38″ have a fee of $5,000, while those measuring below 36″ have a fee of $4,000. For all buffalo hunts, additional plains game species may be added at the relevant trophy fees. The area produces a good number of buffalo measuring over 40″, with the largest buffalo taken in the area measuring 49″.
